Intro & Age
This Friday, I’m going to tell you all about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. First off: Age. I’d recommend this game for kids (and adults) 8-10+, based off of my own experience. I got this for my 9th birthday, and it did spook me a bit, the fact that some of the first enemies you’ll encounter are, basically, goblins swinging clubs like madmen, or trying to snipe you out with a bow and arrow. (They’re actually called bobolkins, but you wouldn’t know that at first.) From that, you’ll probably start to think that this game takes place in a sort of prehistoric but advanced island (called Hyrule). Although I would get scared of a lot of things at that age, I was still spooked. After getting used to that encounter, I found no other enemies that were too scary.
Gameplay
Next: Gameplay. I found this game to be quite well done, as I love gaming, and speedrunning games, and yet this took me about 2 1/2 years to beat the final boss, and all the 120 shrines, and that was with sometimes looking things up! There is a complex story that fits perfectly with everything else. The bosses, friends, ancient history of the island, and more! You’ll find that a lot of the characters have quite a bit of personality, and that kind of makes up for the fact that you can get a bit lonely with no online play at all. I find that it can still get a bit boring, but there’s a lot to do in the game, whether it’s looking for 30 acorns, defExpansion Pack
Finally: Expansion Pack and others. I bought the expansion pack about 1 1/2, 2 years after starting, and I found both of them to be worth it. The expansion pack is into two different sections. 1.) The Master Trials. The Master Trials part one contains new gear such as the master mode option, a harder version of the game. The actual Master Trials themself, where you can learn to become a true wielder of the master sword, and some other gear such as the Hero’s Path, Travel medallion, and some clothes to find also! Part 2 mainly contains The Champion’s ballad, but also has a ton of gear.
Time for some Tips! First, Cook always! Usually, if a item is edible, by cooking it you can enhance it into one of the following categories: Health Restoring, Health adding, Strength, Defense, Stamina, & Speed. Second: How. You can play any way you want, I personally like to either snipe, dodge, or avoid combat entirely. Three: Chill out. You don’t have to fight any boss at a certain time, I liked to prepare a lot, like, a lot before some of the bosses. You can feel free to comment about how you enjoyed this game, or if you have any questions! Thanks for reading!
